If martz takes over the Saints he won't use McAllister the way he can be effective. Furthermore their Defense will go down hill and they'll only pass. He'll be chewed up in the NFC south in 2 years easy.
Saints set to interview Martz
<Jan. 11> Former Rams head coach Mike Martz is scheduled to interview in New Orleans on Friday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Saints first contacted Martz last week and immediately put him high on their list of candidates.
New York Jets defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson wrapped up his two-day formal interview process with the Saints on Tuesday morning, while Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon met with team officials the rest of the day. Saints owner Tom Benson will meet with Carthon today.
Dallas Cowboys' assistant head coach/passing game coordinator Sean Payton is expected to arrive for his second discussion with the Saints on Wednesday, while former Packers coach Mike Sherman will interview Thursday.
The Saints have also contacted Fresno State coach Pat Hill and are believed to have interest in Giants defensive coordinator Tim Lewis.
