Please talk about something besides Duke vs Carolina! There are other things going on the sports world. The Mac Attack talks about it constantly and the majority of Packer's show is devoted to Duke-UNC. I am now listening to Czaban's show and Kornheiser's show over the net in the mornings and going to political talk after those shows are over. I hope that both teams lose quickly in the tournament so that maybe FNZ can move on to other things.

It does get old quick listening to rednecks call in one after the other with the "you suck and we rule" mentality.
Hell, I flip over to NPR it gets so bad.

By the way, we DO have a 1st place Hockey team in this state that is playing unbelievably well heading into the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Maybe once the local schools choke out again the show might mention it.

Da Canes will have to make another deep Stanley Cup Playoff run before WFNZ will even start talking about them on a semi-regular basis . . .

I miss Sandy Penner being on WFNZ . . . He was the one guy who didn't mind talking about hockey here and there when the topic came up. I mean, the Checkers don't get any regular mention on WFNZ anymore. Didn't they use to do a guys night out with the Checkers when they were at CRICKET ARENA (or was that the Hornets?).

Has anybody noticed that around here, nobody talks about the Canes and barely a word about the Bobcats . . . Then up in Raleigh-Durham its ACC/Canes and basically nothing about the Bobcats!!!!!!!! Why is it that after all these years, NC still has this mental block about rooting for all of the state's pro teams (though I think most everybody do root for/talk about the Panthers on a state wide basis)?
