Crap, I forgot to DVR the first one. Did anyone else record/watch this? Anyone else interested in catching this?

It's supposed to have some stunning visuals including several things that are either almost never caught on camera or haven't been filmed before. Some interesting filming techniques too. Looks really cool.

    Blue Planet was amazing.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Planet Earth. I didn't want to watch it last night because I missed the first part, but I wound up watching some of it anyway. It looks incredible.

It was. He did another one many moons ago called "the living planet" which i recall watching in elementary school more than 20 years ago.
Plus he had a weekly series on BBC 1 called Wildlife on 1. Ive always found his voice sooting, perfect to catch a nap watching sunday nature shows.

In fact David Attenborough narrated for a newer series called Planet Earth. Im wondering if this is the same thing just re-narrated by an American. Is David narrating this one too or not for those that have seen it?

The part I caught last night had a female narrator, I think. Hell, I was looking more than listening.

Sigourney Weaver is narrating this one. I'm not sure if she's just re-narrating it though.

The second part ( High Mountain stuff) had amazing footage...first ever snow leopard footage, and GOOD footage. Amazing.
