Pepp says he has been fighting a sore ankle through camp, and aggravated it when he ran back the TD on Sat.

DTD is about the best thing--not serious, just rest the guy. The Browns don't matter nearly as much as the Saints on Sept. 11 do.

Notes: Pro Bowl defensive end Julius Peppers missed his third straight day of practice and his right foot remains in a walking boot. Peppers will probably miss Friday night's game against Cleveland, but the team hopes to have him back for the regular season opener.

OKay, first of all I'm going to apologise for stooping to the level sometimes reached here. I'm not a mean hearted person, but somedays smart aleack remarks whether meant in humor or not hit me wrong and today is that day. No, I don't even buy the paper because I work ten hour days and the past few weeks have been working my days off as well, so papers generally sit unread which is wasting money in my opinion and we're not rich by ANY means. I KNEW Pep had a foot injury, but assumed it was very minor (which it may be) and while I don't have the great awe inspiring football knowledge oozing out of this site, I do have some medical knowledge and when someone says Pep is in a boot and was limping significantly at practice yesterday, I know that while it may be precautionary, it can also have some much more serious implications. May be nothing - hope it is, but it could be something not good as well.

I'm being bitchy (and by the way I'm female) because I've been dealing with police - our house was broken into the first week of August and trashed, jewelry and money stolen.I'm also dealing with chronic health issues. Not life threatening, but I'm dealing with chronic pain and believe me that can make you bitchy.

I know my presence here is an irritant to some because I'm not as knowledgeable as the rest of you, but then again, I don't post a great deal either and most of you probably don't even read my posts when you see my name, so deal with it. You may think you're superior people, but all your knowledge and blustering doesn't make you a good HUMAN BEINGS. When a friend is in need do you drop everything to be with them? Do you perform random acts of kindness just because of the happiness you get from doing it?

In the long run being smarter about facts or better at hurtful sarcasm doesn't get you any brownie points with the big guy upstairs. I'm a good, honest, hard working person who goes to battle for my friends whenever I can.

Again, I'm apologising for this rambling doesn't make any sense and mean post - it isn't me, but I think some of you need an ego check.
