I don't get the hate for Peppers. Other than the fact that he wanted to leave and we spent a couple of years dicking around instead of letting him go, I can't think of anything that would cause anyone to have any hard feeling towards him.

I don't have any hard feelings personally - I can see how people would, though. Some felt like he didn't play hard enough/didn't achieve what he could've. The playing hard is subjective, because he obviously hustles in space and his apparent lack of effort against blockers could mean he just will never be strong and that he has bad technique.

I can also see people being sore that he caused the whole leaving thing much harder than it could've been - or that he hurt/killed trade value by running his mouth.

Saying that Gerhart ran over him is no different than last year's videos of Witten smashing him in run blocking. It's more a verification of what people believe of him than a hatred. The guy has holes in his game.

always nice to have that one "holy shit" play on defense around every other week. Would've been nice to have had that opposite Johnson. Would still have been nice to have Peppers. But paying him what we did, and what he makes now, it's just too much.

anybody that says he doesn't want to play here because of the ownerships lack of commitment to win, then he leaves and you see he wasn't lying... I'm not mad at him. I wouldn't want to play for Richardson's team either...

I'm sure they feel like they did in Major League... she tried to put team together so bad, attendance would drop so she could move the team.
