Or, he could just answer truthfully, which I'm sure he did. If I'm not mistaken, Freeney got his big contract after only getting about 5 sacks last season, so why shouldn't Peppers believe that he can do the same? Everybody knows damn well that he's capable of playing better than he has this season.
