In all non-strike-marred pennant races since 1969, what percentage of teams that stood between four to six games back on July 31 have come back to finish in first place?










The answer is just 6 percent, or just seven of the 111 in history.

i believe my white sox were down 7 games at the break, they will finish in first place in the AL central

oof course the stat is measured from 7/31..........so they still have week to fit within the measurement.




..........or of course, they could completely fold by then..
