I was wanting to question why Ian thomas wasn't getting much thrown to him, although 5 times last week does seem low.

Because Wright and McCaffrey are soaking up all of the checkdowns.


That's an outrageous target disparity between Smith and Moore.
 
Well, lets look at the last game.
They ran a total of 66 plays and 41 of those were running attempts. When your team is running with success then the pass is normally just a set up to run more and control the time as much as possible.
If the running game hadn`t been as good then you probably would have seen more targets to Thomas.

I hope this is the last game Torrey Smith starts for the Panthers. He's as useless as Keary Colbert.
 
It the excuse is that the younger guys don't know the full playbook, then it's time to scale back the playbook.
