I'm not sure if many people realize that KC has won 17 out of their last 20 games. That's pretty amazing. They are quietly one of the best teams in the NFL. They dominate the turnover ratio game at +13. Alex Smith has rightfully been a bit of a punchline in the past, but he's a very efficient manager who shockingly had 500 yards rushing in 2015. Maclin being out doesn't hurt us, but they're going to be what they are regardless, which means running the ball to get it to Kelce off playaction. They'll toss in some silly shit occasionally, like a WR at running back or Dontari Poe playing fullback, but for the most part it's the basic run-to-pass offense.
Dee Ford can be a massive problem for us if we fall behind in the game and/or get into multiple third and longs, so hopefully Shula will be a patient cunt with the running game.
