In the United States, a designated cuckold is an individual on an NFL team, usually a member of the coaching staff or a player, who is destined to be humiliated at the hands of the Carolina Panthers (e.g., Cam Newton or Mike Tolbert). Each week a new designated cuckold is chosen.
