They worked him out last week, I hadn't heard that they actually signed him. They loved him pre-draft and I was a little suprised they didn't grab him - San Diego cut him last week. (or maybe it was Cleveland)

I can't see Randy sticking if this guy sticks.

I'm actually waiting for confirmation that we picked him up.

Hell, I like a shiny new toy. The Fasani model is outdated.

Had Fasani not started a game last year we might keep him for the future and put him on the PS. But now we can't. I would imagine this guy would be PS fodder, and we're gonna only keep 3 QBs so we can keep other 'talent' as well.

Thats a big kid and he had a 183 QB average. Maybe they found something too develop there. Course Arizona released him? They ain't exactly playing Joe Montana at QB. Fasani just seems like a long way off anyway. I think Weinke would help us more as the #3 than Fasani.

They probably just want to bring him in to see if he can be of any worth. If Fasani were cut, which seems to be the way things will go, this guy's a more likely practice squadder. If someone gets hurt, Fasani makes the squad, this guy's still on the PS.

I like Billick's idea of putting this guy through Europe, too. And Jaworski noting his release is significant.
