Well, Scott Fowler is on board with it and that's enough to make me think we screwed up.

I admit I didn't even look at the draft until this morning, and was NOT too happy. Gross was OK, but I think we should have taken Trufant, then Witten, then Nelson if we had to have him, he would have been available with the 3rd pick, and then if we were gonna pick another defensive guy I don't think we should have picked a corner.

Overall, a "D" draft, in my opinion.

Hope we get some "better" stragglers today.

I'm happy they took Gross rather Truffant. I know taking an OL isn't the exciting thing to do but that was the weak link in the Panthers offense last year. As for Nelson, in that position Whitten was the better pick IMO (unless his neck is more of a problem than we've heard). Not sure we needed a 5'8 CB or a back up safety tho. Last 2 rounds have me scratching my head..
