Delhomme finished 13th in yards, 12th in Tds, threw the 9th most its,
Steve Smith finished 8th in rec, 11th in rec. yards, 12th in y/g, 14th in 20+ yard gains, 22nd in Tds. 14th in punt returns.
Muhammad finished top 30 in ypc. 25th in y/g, 35th in rec. and 7th in 20+ yard gains.
Mike Rucker finished tied for 7th in sacks. he and Wallace tied for DL defended passes, with 5, for 14th; Jenkins and Burton with 4 tied for 24th. Peppers had 3. Peppers tied for 8th in the league from the DL for forced fumbles. Wallace co-led the DL INT stat with 2 (with Sim Rice); Rucker, Burton tied for 3rd with 1. Wallace also led in INT return from DL.
Witherspoon was 37th in the league in tackles, and was among the billion different LBs to get one sack to be top 50 there as well. He had 4 PDs to list within the top 40.
Minter was 12th in DB tackles and 20th in solo tackles.
Grant was tied for 20th in DB sacks, led the team in PD (12, tied for 30something in DBs)
The defense came on late and jumped to 8th overall, 8th on third down, 9th in passing yards, 8th in completion percentage, 14th in passing TDs, snuck up to 12th with the 4 INT performance this week (12 picks would have given the team a 28th place ranking...finished with one less pick than last year); 7th in sacks (40, had 52 last season).
Rush D was 11th, 9th in rush scoring, 12th in average (4.0), and gave up 107.6 a game. 6th in rushing first downs.
We finished 24th in gross punt avg. and 22 in net. We finished with a league worst three blocked punts (12 teams had 1 blocked, 3 had 2). We were one of 12 teams to give up a punt return TD.
