I know there must be some hellacious traffic over there, and I am the farthest thing from an IT guy that there is. But shouldn't they be able to handle that.

Seriously, somebody did say that they shut it down. And do you really think that that stupid site to handle that traffic? Remember, we have such a crappy and cheap site. And as crappy as that site is info-wise, it really doesn't surprise me.

It's really disappointing.

I should know better by now, but I really wish we had a better website. Daily video and audio. Weekly wallpapers. Their own photo album, instead of whoring off of Getty and AP.

IF they shut it down, they'd have at least a page on there saying it's shut down, or you'd be able to connect to the server. As of now, you can't even connect to the server, which means the server is physcially fucked up.

thats the same site that shut down their message boards because they couldn't moderate it. No suprise if the site went down from traffic.
