Green Bay Packers CB Michael Hawthorne (strained back) has been out a week due to a strained back. So far, the team isn't saying whether he or rookie CB Ahmad Carroll will start in Week 1 in place of holdout CB Mike McKenzie, who does not appear that he'll be ending his holdout this week.
