There were just 48,954 in attendance at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville on Sunday and the Jags-Chargers game was not carried by a single television station in the state.

You'd think Leftwich starting would put more fans in the seats.

Maybe it's just me - and I love football now - but somehow the beach in Florida may be more appealing than watching Jax. Even with Leftwich.

that is the fact of life in florida, it the team is sucky there is always the boat and kingfish and dolfin. The only time you can count on a sellout is if the team is winning. Hell the marlins can't even break even winning the series. When it's 100deg 100% humidity there is always an excuse not to go. Actually it's not that bad there at the moment, but damn yesterday was a bitchin sailing day and the wind season is almost upon them.

we've sold out every game but cincy and baltimore last year- and the baltimore game had 60k in attendance, and the cincy had about the same. we've never been that bad as alltel was yesterday. (although the NE game in 2001 had 25k show up, but it was icing and cold).

After his 330+ yards passing and Smith's 137 yards receiving, they'll be back on the band wagon next week.
