Does the lack of a #1 pick next year increase the money available to Peppers?

Since the rookie pool still comes out of the overall salary cap, it would have to be a consideration in the amount of money available to re-sign both Peppers and Gross, correct?

If we tag Peppers ( which is not unlikely ), we might wind up with a first next year after all.

If pep play up to his potental this year he'll get his mega contract before he hits the market. Carolina won't let him go....look how it took them to cut Morgan, and foster.

Bet you he holds out and we have a Lance Briggs type situation
Pep has been laid back about Money. kind of a when it gets done it gets done type attitude it would surprise me if he shit on Carolina. he's a native, and always has said good things about the organization. And lance Briggs signed back with bears.
