Oil change

Did anyone ever use a program called Oilchange? It basically looked at your PC saw what pogrms you had and went out and looked for updates for these programs. Is this still available? Would you want to use it? Is there a free version out there?

Seems to be a subscription based service... and I can't find an online copy (ie. via Kazaa)... I'll assume it could use a Java applet to transfer data... that way preventing anyone from software theft.

After further investigation it seems this software IS included in McAfee Utilities Deluxe

I use to use it. There are others that aren't so intrusive.

I used to use it as well >3 years or so. Wish Kasaa had it. They gave you a year of update searches

I've used one called BigFix.
