Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports the Oakland Raiders signed free agent RB Dominic Rhodes (Colts) to a two-year, $7.5 million contract Friday, March 9.


I would have thought Buffalo would have moved on him

Gawd I wish Robert Gallery was traded or released from there so he can get his career on track. I know he feels some loyalty to them, but I don't see anything getting better for him unless they have some continuity...he's had more coaches in 3 years than most players see in 10.

I don't think it's fair to blame Gallery's struggles on that franchise.

Rhodes' signing with Oakland's odd, sure - ensures he's a backup, ensures he's just a change of pace guy. Other opportunities were there.

I know, but I can't help but think he'd be better off elsewhere. Not that I have talked to him, but a few of my friends see him when he's in town and I talk to his brother and they all say he's committed to that organization and would like to stay be there for his entire career.
