I have no idea what the team is thinking sometimes. I just know that Cantwell is working with the 2's because he's a year ahead in the offense, not because he's a better QB than Clausen. It's inevitable that Clausen will be the #2 before the preseason starts, unless he just doesn't want to study the playbook.

It is probably more about Clausen and his rumored ego than any faith in Cantwell. Cantwell will end up on the practice squad. If they had any faith in him they do not draft Pike cause they are not going to carry four QBs.
