We already have a player like him in Lewis, and Kemo will probably be here anyway.

I think he only played DE in the 3-4.

He's a situational guy, but if we were to lose Kemoeatu, he'd be a good situational run guy similar to Carstens, to pair with Lewis. With Moorehead UFA, and hopefully gone, we'll be looking at cheap veteran depth, IMO.

he wouldn't be a good DE at all. Even situationally as a run stopper.

To me, he's nowhere the rush guy Lewis is. He's more of a run guy.

We have guys who can rush the passer from the RDE spot. All we really need is a guy who can play the run well. I think we can handle it with guys on the roster right now. We might need to add depth though. Maybe we start Lewis at RDE and bring in another DT for depth.

one guy who might be intriguing, but possibly expensive, is DT turned DE Cullen Jenkins, a Packers RFA and brother of Kris Jenkins. Jenkins started stealing some time from Gbaja-Biamila toward the end of the season and had 6.5 sacks in experimental time.

Wait, I thought that he just signed an extension with the Pack. It seems that I remember during the season that he was excited to re-sign with them and it was a load off his mind.

the latest I had read was yesterday's date referencing him as still RFA.

As RFA, it would be hard to get him away.
