Norah Jones

does anyone dig her?? i saw her on pbs early monday morning (like 2am!!) and she has a great voice and good songs, from what i've heard. please, someone gimme the gist of her.

hehehe...just yesterday i was sporting a norah jones avatar, lj.

dude, she is like nina simone only better! she tends to be on the country side, but i enjoy her jazzy set of tunes better.

magnus first posted her on this moment thread. "i dont know why" is her hit single and also "come away with me". i love her cd! i played her cd till my ears bled when i first got it. i still do every so often and when i do, it reminds me of good stuff!

gotta buy her cd. tracks 1, 2, 3...hell, all tracks are great. listen to track 3. "cold cold heart" and you will fall in love! king of pain likes her too. so does mags. you guys have excellent taste!

thanks lex- i'll check out her cd- her voice is amazing and the melodies kick ass. coldplay is one of my faves too.

what is she- she looks greek or italian.. either way, i'd still bone her.

i recall reading she's from texas. moved to new york recently. she's american, bub! could be hispanic.
