Nocturnal League Trade Snafu

There is a trade on the table that one of the owners wants out of. Basically it sounds like he put it out there and it sat for a day or so and then he got cold feet and wanted to pull it off the table. Problem was the other team accepted it. I put in the league page that if the other owner agreed I would kill the trade as commissioner. So far no owner has voted against the trade so unless both teams in trade say kill it I feel like the trade should go through. Basically don't put an offer out there you don't want the other to accept. Any thoughts?

No PP, it went like this..... I offered LarryD Tom Brady for Duece McAllister before week 1. I thought I had canceled the offer 2 weeks later because I had no response and I cut a QB. I talked to Larry and he's cool with it. I don't know what your problem is or what your attitude is about. It's really not that big a deal. I'd just rather not make the trade.


I had 3 QB's when I made the offer. Now I have 2, I just didn't want Greise as my one and only QB. I picked up another RB when I cut my 3rd QB.

I was just surprised to get an e-mail saying the trade went through when I thought I had canceled it 10 days or so ago.

I'm not upset about the trade, it's a fair trade, just PP needs to not try to distort it from what it is.

"Hey

Please Veto the trade between Lords of Disipline & Black Katz Prowlers, Brady for McAllister. It was offered weeks ago and I meant to cancel the offer. I do not want this trade to happen.

How am I trying to distort it? You are asking me to kill a trade you offerred someone else w/o even asking Larry or the league? If anything asking me to do something like like would put me in a crap situation with the league and the other owner. You made a trade offer and when you deside not to do it (2 weeks later!?) you ask me to kill it. If your looking to cast blame or distort what happened look in the mirror first. Looks like the league is pretty much in the same frame of mind allowing the trade to go through

i actually agreed to it thinkign it was a thomas jones for brady deal that had been on my OTHER yahoo league screen.

i wanted to cancel it right away, too.

but i figured, hey, what the hell.
