If we finish 8-8 in the ACC with a win over A&T and a win in the tourney we are golden. That is a hefty feat.

You need to go 5-3 over the second half of the ACC season. Not out of the realm of consideration. You have several quality wins. i think an 8-8 ACC record will get you in. I wish you wouldn't but think there is a chance you will.

To be honest Dukie we have to win ALL those games.

The Heels are 2-6 in the ACC and must get 6 more wins to ensure the tourney. That means they must beat EVERYONE outside of Wake, Maryland and Duke. They will also need to win 1 against 1 of those teams to get to 8-8.

It looks gloomy to say the least. If the Heels finish with a losing ACC record they might need to win the tourney.

My prediction is that UNC will have to win the ACC tourney to make the big dance. Too much youth and the injury to May along with the inability to finish games has almost buried the Heels this season. Its a game or two away from being over.
