Radio and Records reports WBOL-AM in High Point, 790, will switch to all sports as of Monday Jan. 3. Just wondering if anybody out there knows anything about the station and what their plans are.

other than 1590 - ESPN radio - which I guess counts
but I imagine this new station will be like all the others that have been around awhile and have such a weak signal that noone listens.
It's hard to have a local talk station without a local pro team - and the Charlotte teams really aren't local enough
