Earned his position back.

I don't like how we are pulling our guard on passing downs, I hate that blocking scheme. But he does it far better than anyone else on the roster. He got beat once, by Sapp, and got good push in the running game. After that one play, he controlled Sapp. And had the block of the game. We would have had first and goal if not for Hoover's hold.

Plus, was he penalized? Can't think of any.

I don't recall any penalties on Nesbit and yes that pulling of the LG isn't all that great but yesterday we did do it with success.

Nesbit is our best left guard. Always was. He needed to rest the injury, and we accomplished that, along with hopefully showing that we need to re-sign him and get some actual depth.

That play-pass move where we're pulling our LG is jacked up. There's no way that works out to our advantage multiple times a game - Terry has to reach inside to get his man, and so does Mitchell.

The big problem thus far in pass blocking other than the changes? Blitz pickups. Some of the sacks could have been avoided by good QB play, we've been tentative and at times the trigger's just not pulled. Still, that's an excuse, and excuses don't make hits acceptable.

Tru dat on Nesbit.

Blitz pickup hasn't been stellar but hasn't been horrible except against Atlanta's 3-4.

The only negatory I can remember was the Sapp sack on the first play.
