    Why not?

    Bu then the only thing attracting to him to the Panthers is an opportunity to play against the Bucs twice and retire on Lake Norman

    He wants to go to a contender. At 35 he doesn't have a lot of time to screw around waiting for a rebuild to finish.

    It's impressive he's only missed 2 games in his career. Those 2 games were due to suspension.
