From Espn.com...

"Delhomme finished 17-of-27 for 168 yards in his best game to date as a starter. It could have been much better, but receiver Muhsin Muhammad dropped at least two catches and fumbled a third. Two of the gaffes could have been touchdowns."

that one long ball looked like The DB got a hand on the ball just as he Moose was grabbing it. Hell he probably would have dropped it anyway but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

thats moose....

hes like the girl with the curls.....when he's good he's real good and when he's bad he's real bad.

did you see that catch over the middle when he got drilled and hung onto the ball?

Whatever you want to say, this is unacceptable from a number one receiver. WR looks to be a pressing need.

Dude I aint defending him. Those drops keep adding up, he's a # two at best.

He's a #1. Don't fault him for the rest of the receivers sucking.

He dropped one. Turned too fast, in traffic, lost concentration on it. He didn't drop any others - the deep ball was a defended pass, BTW.

He also made some damn clutch catches. If he were getting the shorter routes like he's designed to get, he'd be getting 8, 10 catches a game, and was at points last year despite a mediocre offense.

I do find it fairly bizarre that they run Moose on more fly routes than the speedier Smith...

though, watching Smith work across the middle today - man, we need another guy (shoulda been Dyson) across from Moose and let Smith work the slot.

Speaking of Dyson, have we heard anything new?

You many want to fault Muhammad all night, but not too many WR's out there could get the s**t knocked out of them at the goal line and be able to recover his own fumble 5 yards away from the point of contact.

totally agree. Smith is WAY too inconsistent. When Jeffers was hot, Moose was a #2. But he got more targets, and performed. Right now, he's the best we have, and therefore gets open so little. But since he's a muscle-out guy, he still gets thrown to.

I'd love to keep both guys and have a blue chipper starting over Smith. I also think the team thinks Proehl and Young are enough of a future, which I hate.

Don't know anything new on Dyson. he's still on PUP, and it's week 4. After week 6, or during week 6, he can start practicing, and then we have two weeks to see if we're activating him or IR-ing him.
