Finally caught some face time on PrimeTime tonight. He's been better the last few weeks - pencil him in as the starter. Bet that extra time he's gotten toward the end of the year translates into results for camp.

I am betting Mangum will still be in the mix, the way those two played the last few weeks when we actually started to throw them some bones...it really dull my emphasis on TE as a need.

Yeah. There's probably no replacing Mangum anytime soon, and for his price, I guess I'm allright with that. But I think I'd see Seidman take more of the targets. And while Gaines could be replaced, considering the way they shied away from him late, I don't know that they necessarily will.

Gaines is serviceable at least, and with a year under his belt...hopefully improved. I wouldn't mind seeing us look at some college power fwds, seems to be the trend of late. Although, with our tendency to ignore the TE until week 14 there really isn't a need to make a move there.

I think Seidman could be a solid player given the PT. He does something good while he's in there.

Personally, I think TE is one of the few bright spots of this whole season. Seidman really came on this year (seeing as how he was able to stay healthy), and should give Mangum a good run for the #1 spot. Mangum found some hands, and made some pretty good plays this year. Gaines is definitely an asset as a #3 TE. He will improve this offseason. We're probably more solid at the position than we ever have been. Maybe better overall than anyone else in the league, other than Indy and maybe Denver.
