microsoft training site

Hey guys, I was talking to Bear and Microsoft's Retail Training site came up. Basically the way it works is, you sign up (say you work for a ms retailer, they won't look into it), take a few quizzes (easy shit, they take about 5 minutes each) and you're entered to win free stuff. The kicker is after you complete about a dozen quizzes, you are elligable to buy NFR (not for resale) titles at HUGE discounts.

I'm pretty sure the NFR Windows XP Pro Full version is something like $45.

Just thought I'd drop the info on you guys.

No, I haven't ordered anything yet, but have gotten my certification to do so. They would've probably jsut called the store seeing as how they asked for the store number and sales manager.

It's a moot point regardless. Damn, I was jsut trying to help my fellow TBR'ers out.

I just ... uh... found... a copy of XP Pro. Apparently the activation... is uh... well... not as important as i was.... uh aware...

i gotta say -- xp boots up mighty fucking fast. we'll see how long this version lasts before failiing, but it hasn't complained about time yet (just installed).
