Then which point does he argue? Does he keep acting like it's easier now to go undefeated because teams aren't as good? That just makes the dolphins going winless look even worse.

I have a feeling the Dolphins are going to b the team to bump off the Pats.

I do agree with you though, the gummers from '72 need to be knocked off thier pedestal...but because I want it, it won't happen. Plus, the Fish bumped the '85 Bears, the Colts a few years ago and I think there have been other late season undefeefeed teams they have taken down. Although, I will admit, none of those Dolphin teams were anywhere near this bad.

The best scenario, imo, would be NE winning the AFC, but losing the Super Bowl to finish 18-1. That way, they'd beat Miami's record for consecutive wins in a season, while also failing to achieve the undefeated season.

Fuck both of 'em.

The Dolphins was my team back in the day but those guys would be a lot more classy if they would just STFU. I'd just as soon the Pats be the ones to equal or better the record, they are a machine.
