Initially, I would think NE gives Brady at least a 1 year, “come back and let’s take one more shot at winning another SB”, extension. He’s such an icon there, Kraft may give him more.
That said, if McDaniels does leave, would he (Brady) find it quite so enticing for to come back for another season? I can’t imagine him wanting to walk away without another shot at a final title.
