Is Anderson, Beason, Kuechly still the best option for starting? at what point does Thomas Davis returning to the starting line-up become conversation worthy?

I wonder how many snaps TD played yesterday. Seems like 58 was on the field more than 59 yesterday.

I think that Davis could use a couple more snaps, but I do prefer he continue to be used more sparingly. For a moment I wanted to question Beason in coverage, whereas Kuechly isn't getting much use there. Not necessarily Beas' fault that they put him in man against Sproles, though.

Agreed... I was fucking pissed in the first half. Wanted them to sit Beason but in the 2nd half I was all like I love you Beas...

No doubt that Davis is playing fantastic. I don't know if his injury will affect the rotation this week. I think they will stay with the same rotation. Would love to see Keuchly in coverage more.

I noticed Davis in there for the nickel and dime packages though.

Its been kind of dissapointing to watch them in the first two games frankly. I agree it seems as if Thomas Davis is making quite a few plays. Whatever we get out of him is great.

Keuchly has yet to make an impact. He looked good in pre-season so maybe its nerves or whatever, but he doesn't seem to have the same speed. Again, he is playing out of position so that has something to do with it I'm sure. I had this worry when we drafted him. We would stuff him in at OLB when he is a better MLB but we can't put him inside beause of Beason. So the end result is an inferior product at OLB than what you expected to get out of the draft. Hopefully with time he'll start to make an impact. Look back at the LB's selected in the top 10 though. It doesn't give me a ton of hope.

Giving first team reps to a chronically injury-prone player isn't the greatest idea, but we need more impact from that position. Kuechly wasn't dominant in the preseason, but he was visible. Need to see that again. Can't have your Will LB disappearing from games. Plus, it seems like the Saints had a ton of success running to that side.
