Former Alabama OL Brandon Greene of the AAF Birmingham Iron expected to sign with Carolina Panthers today

Greene (6-foot-5, 295 pounds) played his college football at Alabama, where he played some tight end in addition to tackle.
After going undrafted, Greene signed with Chicago and was added to their practice squad. He didn't play in a game and was cut last September before the season began.
Greene should compete with the likes of Isaiah Battle and Dillon Gordon for a backup spot behind Carolina's projected OT starters Taylor Moton and Daryl Williams.
