Keep your fingers crossed

Maybe not until halftime. I'm wondering if they would call the game if it got bad enough since it's only preseason.

By 8:00 PM Bonnie is supposed to be about 50 to 100 miles N. of Vermont and the center of Charley may not be farther N. than the Research triangle area. All the starters at least should be done for the evening by the time it starts getting really bad. Charley could be robbing our young and new guys of important game time experience. SHIT . . . I was hoping only places like Tampa Bay would be adversely affected by this.

just our luck :teeth:

It's going to be raining harder than piss from a bucket in DC when the Panthers play the Redskins. No injuries, please
holy crap, you're right. Charley is slated to be right on top of D.C. by 8PM Saturday.

Wonder if they will cancel the game.

The most recent (11:00 AM) track does in fact put the EYE of that storm right over DC right at KO time.
However, I just realized the good news . . . these early tracks are NEVER exact so I would bet big money that that is not where the storm will be at KO. It seems to be hedging towards moving faster and farther E than they have been tracking so that would suggest that the bulk of Charley will be out to sea and a bit NE already by game time. My guess is worse case scenario they might delay the KO 30 minutes or so and have to play on a wet field with a degree of gusting winds and spotty light rain.

But hey, who knows? It's the weather . .. it IS what it IS :D

or disappear, or slam into the capitol.
Yeah, that may happen. Moose is a closet Al Qeda (since he has that Muslim-sounding name) and he'll hijack the plane into the capitol. And Moose was in cahoots with that guy that was caught in Charlotte filming tall buildings. :scared2:

(This is a good thread to get rumors started. :D)

Unless theres lightning there will be no cancellations. I sat in the monsoon game at the stadium formally known as Ericcson a few years back against Pittsburgh. The bottom 5 rows of seats wer literially under water

Should get a nice long look at Little Joey Harris then. Doubt we'll see them air the ball out under those conditions.
