How trustworthy are the software titles you can "share" off of kazoo? I mean, how possible is it to get, say, Win XP off it? And how would that work with the registration thing?
You wouldn't be thinking if stealing a licensed Microsoft product would you Mark? If so, let me know how that goes...I'm thinking maybe I might upgrade too when I get my new hard drive.
I've tried several times to get XP but can't get passed the registration part. I have gotten earlier versions of Windows and Office over Kazaa previously.
Voyer promised to tell me how she got it to work. So voyer, how bout it.
When MS sent XP to the Beta testers it was in pieces, once the hackers got all the pieces they just put them together. Make sure your getting the whole thing and not just a piece. I personally wouldn't use an OS from a hacker because they probably left some cracks in it. A "friend " of mine had XP weeks before it came out but I don't trust him
OK, this sumbitch wants to take 32 hours to download, so I'm scrapping the idea.
Next question is this. Let's say I had access to a restore disc for a newer computer (like, if say, I worked at an office supply superstore), could I "restore" my computer to the factory settings of that computer? Would that give me the XP I'm looking for (and maybe some other new titles to boot)?
I imagine I might have some driver issues, but probably nothing I couldn't download an update for, right?
