I proudly wore my Panthers shirt as I walked around Seaworld with the wife and kids. I did not notice too many dirty looks but in the back of my mind they were all sneering :)

I had never been to Jacksonville. It looks pretty nice with the water way splitting it. I pointed out the to the family the top of the enemy stronghold (alltel stadium) jutting out among the buildings.

Anything happen while I was gone?

Nothing much, at least not worth discussing. We traded Steve Smith to Denver for Steve B. :)

That bridge and waterway is pretty cool. Its a wonder what they can do to a swampland these days.

I don't think under today's wetland rules you can build a city where they did.

uh, Tampa & Orlando are rivals in Arena Football & Hockey. Not many Buc fans in O-town, not many Magic fans in Tampa

plus, hardly nobody in Orlando will sneer at anybody from out of town anyway, it's what they work for

Live in Tampa for 9 years, wearing everything with Panthers to work, shopping and sports bars, and come talk to me :D

I stopped in St. Augustine, that is a pretty nice little town. I noticed a few Jaguars stickers and tags on cars but that was about it. I have it on good authority that Shamu is actually a Panthers fan.

It is a long drive from Hickory to Orlando. I dont think I will do that again any time soon....

werd. We been driving down to Panama City Beach from Mooresville for vacation, still aint as far as you're talkin' but it is a haul. Yeah we're doing it again for the fourth of July vacation this year.

it's about 8 hours to Orlando for me. But I don't dick around. Now a long drive is back when I was real young and we had to go to Orlando from upstate NY.

Jacksonville's not bad, they sure did clean it up where it doesn't smell like asscrack anymore.

Funny, he didn't mention that the other day...:)

It would have taken about 9 hours if I had pressed hard. I stopped for about an hour or so though and it took around ten. It is around 45 minutes to an hour from my house to Charlotte so that is about right I guess.

Florida make you appreciate the local vacation spots. I had to pay two dollars each way for toll roads and three dollars for parking just to go to the beach. I have never had to pay for parking at the beach before at Myrtle or Cape Hatteras.....

We should just trade Foster for Portis, Moose for Rod Smith and Mangum for Shannon Sharpe while we are at it trading with Denver.
