    NFL Network mentioned that Carolina is interested in Julius Jones. Said he would probably be inexpensive as a change of pace back.

    We can do better. He never seemed to be special in any one area but I do remember reading that part of the reason he was keeping Barber on the bench in Dallas was that he could pass protect- so thats a plus.

    He can fit through small holes and he's not afraid of contact. He's also been very good about not fumbling the ball, which is something that we really from a back-up. I'd be very happy with Williams and Jones.

    yep. And, certainly good enough to be in a two-back system. Young guys like Johnson, Forte, and so on, are interesting but not really what we need.
