Skipper seems to have had a good run here and should land on his feet somewhere, if he still has a desire to do it.

Good coach, don't see why Rivera didn't want him exactly.

DW said Skipper being here would influence his FA decision making, wonder if this indicates we're not wanting to pay him.

Too bad... that article sounds like he'd stay here for just about any position with the team. I could see If Rivera had a guy, but he dont.

He doesn't fit the profile, older and I'm sure there's a money component. He's a well paid Fox guy and doesn't have much experience with our O. I like the guy but traditionally guys don't get a new contract in this situation.

I just think he's too close to Fox, knows too much of the history here with him. Meeks was fairly new to the situation... plus he does have a SB ring as a DC under one of the most well repected man in the league.

Is does suck... the one position that was the strongest and most consistant part of the Panthers

DW is getting tagged anyway... if it's allowed in the new CBA, so who we have as RB's coach is irrelevant as far if he wants to come back.
