Being a Miami fan, thank god his days in a Dolphins uniform are over. But as a Panthers fan, I wouldn't mind if maybe we get him cheap as a backup, that way we could drop Rodney Peete.

For the same money, hell yeah I'd rather have Peete.

Do I think we could put less into the QB position, esp. considering our cap status? Yeah. But we can do better than Fiedler, too.

Think about it - 63 completions for 700+ yards and 8 TDs isn't bad, right?

The problem? That's not Fiedler's stats as a backup, that's Fiedler's career stats to guys in the other uniform.
