Jacksonville cuts Gibson

Never seen him or heard of him. Anyone know if he's worth a look, Sunday's mistake notwithstanding?

Coughlin likes to cut players to show a message. The only message I get out of it is that he has a pissy temper.

Yea, I agree. Coughlin is an asshole. Plain and simple. I am surprised he has lasted this long in Jax.

Gibson is one former Hawkeye I am SHOCKED is still in the league. Even in college he had a tendency for mental lapses. He is a below average WR and an average return man. His arrogance gets him in trouble quite often.
My guess is that he has done similar things in practice and this was the final straw.
Kahlil Hill is the same way, which is why he isn't on an active roster right now. The difference between the two is that Hill is at least a decent WR, but both have over exagerated speed.
