It's getting pathetic

I know they managed to get a ring out of it but I wonder if they would still give up all those picks for Gruden? Dungy is probably a better coach...

No, he really isn't.

Gruden's been a decent enough coach, but his record's really crappy, only two good years, and he's almost shot himself in the foot on QBs alone. With Williams not being the gamebreaker he looked like in the first half of his rookie season, that's become concerning as well. He's been raided of some players and a lot of coaches, but everyone gets picked apart when they're doing well.

Dungy has Peyton Manning (they wouldn't be a playoff team without him), and they probably have roughly the same winning percentage in Tampa (Gruden, of course, won a Super Bowl, albeit with mostly Dungy's players). I would put them on the same level. They are both solid, but their team's strengths do not come from the background of either coach. Kiffen was already in Tampa, and Tom Moore/Manning were already in Indy.

Sorry, but Gruden is unquestionably a better coach. Dungy is not known as a great defensive mind, a great motivator, or a great adjuster. He's certainly respected, but he's not in Gruden's league there.

Uh ... no. You got that backwards, since he's had only two bad years including this one and injuries played a large part in both. Also, there's really no reason to question Cadillac either. He's a player and I'm not looking forward to playing him twice a year.

Gruden's finest coaching job came last year. Did more w/less than any team in the league. But his team sucked in 2003 and 2004, and they suck this year (and we know why, but they still suck).

He is a helluva back. Proved that against us in December last year. His production vs. Carolina is as follows:

74-233yd

2td

2 fumbles lost

3.01 ypc.

Once they improve up front, and get settled at QB, he will only get better. Hasn't murdered us yet, but you never know.
