charles roger's agent and an unidentified lions official have said that his broken clavical is not healing as planned. he'll need surgery and will go on IR.

John Jett, the punter, tore his calf muscle while playing safety for the scout team...he's probably gone for the season too but they are keeping his roster spot open because there are no FA punters out there.

Luther Ellis is healthy for the 1st time in 4 years and ready to come off of PUP...but with Jett's injury and them keeping Roger's roster spot open, there is no room for him. he'll either go on IR or get released.
