Is there some way to get a decent recording...

...of the voicemail greeting that you hear when you call someone's cellphone?

For personal reasons, a friend of a friend would like to know if there is a relatively simple way to record the greeting and get it onto a PC so that it can then be burned onto a CD.

Any ideas/suggestions?

use 2 cell phones. dial the number with one. when the vm starts, hold it next to the othe cell phone and record (if it has that capability. most do). save the recording and download to the pc. burn to cd
