Any archaeological proof?
Other than writings, what kind of archeological proof are you thinking?
perhaps writings of neutral sources. the romans, for example, had run-ins with him. perhaps records of his imprisonment and execution. it's a longshot and so lack of any evidence doesn't mean much.
we learn a lot about history based on the writings of scholars. how many scholars of the time write about jesus?
other than the gospel authors and Paul?
Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius, and Pliny the Younger
i understand the josephus stuff is believed to have been tampered with. the others don't really write about jesus, they write about christians.
