to flourish with the Bears? It looks like he probably won't.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports unless the Chicago Bears suddenly get hot for a veteran free agent quarterback, the team could go into another season without a veteran backup at the quarterback position.

So what. The veteran backup may have helped in practice or could have been a calming influence during games, but no one wants him on the field anyway. It still will be a QB with little experience on the field.

No. I say he gets about 60 catches for less than 800 and about 7 TDs.
Bears stay in the cellar.

Your numbers may be accurate but he will also probably lead the team in catches, yardage, and TD receptions.

I will be surprised if he catches 7 TD for the Bears. He has only done that well here a couple of times.

I'll be surprised if the whole fucking team scores 7 TDs, unless Urlacher picks up a few fumbles in the end zone.
