Would you date a person outside of your faith? I mean, say you met someome that is amazing and you just click. Once you found out he/she was of a different faith, would you just drop them or see where the road led?

Also, define "faith" in your answer - are we talking about catholic vs protestant or more like christian versus wiccan or pagan or hindu or buddhist or muslim or what?

That's what I was curious about too.

Why one and not the other? Why even date if you know that it will lead to nothing?

That's what the parents of this nice Jewish girl I dated in college kept asking. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was all about the sex.

What were her reasons? :woohoosmilieuntilhasbeensdeletesmypost:

At the dating phase, you don't know that it won't lead to anything. There's no commitment, so there's still hope of change. But to make a lifelong commitment to someone of another faith is a very bad idea, IMO.

What would you do if your child or relative converted to another faith?
