Inmates on Rocky Top

Found this gem on a UThug message board:

"That's two strikes for both of them. They're starting to walk a fine line there."

LOL

Three Tennessee football players arrested this morning following an armed robbery at a convenience store. Big Orange fans must be proud.

If this was actually a big deal, half of Div 1 programs would be shut down.

Yeah, I'm pissed. I mean, Jackson is a starting safety. You know he doesn't need the money. :N1oldschool:

The SEC is the worst though. I mean, the kid that was actually the victom of this crime is saying that all three of these guys should still get to play football. That's the SEC right there. They just don't care what these kids do as long as they win.

I would like to think that the ACC has a little bit of a higher standard than this. Honestly, I don't think that the majority of VT, UNC, NC State, Wake Forest, or Duke fans would be defending these kids, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want these kids representing their universities or states, even if it meant that they will lose a couple of football games.

Roll your eyes if you want to, but I don't believe for one second that there are many ACC fans that will forgive armed robbery. Smoking a little pot, fist fights, and underage drinking can be excused because 95% of us did one or the other in HS or college, and it's actually pretty normal behavior for teenagers and young adults, but armed robbery is an entirely different animal.
