I'm dissappointed in your team. Really I am. The past two years all I've heard is "What till next year!". I have never heard that till last year. There is no reason for Carolina to perform the way they do. UNC gets the best players in the country and all they can muster are these lackluster records of this season and last? Say what you will but the word I can say here is....

From a Carolina fan, last year was a total reality check. I am 43 years old and I have absolutely nothing to compare that season to. We have never sucked that bad. This years team could have been pretty good had Sean May stayed healthy. I am not blaming injuries for our teams inconsistancy. thats Dukies role. For a change we have a few athletes. Coach Gut and Smith were serious old guard and felt like they had to have a 7 footer in the middle that was slower than a glacier. Matt Doughboy seems to be a little more informed and has recruited players that are athletes first. From what I have read coach and McCants arn't the best of friends. I just hope that May can come back in some form of shape before the ACC tourney and get back that magic they were playing with when they beat Kansas and Stanford. Cautiously optimistic

you said it. will johnson, jonathan holmes, phillip mclamb, jonathan miller, and damien price are ballers. with all those guys im amazed too that the heels arent undefeated.

well lets see their are two seniors on the team - one Will Johnson is a Rhodes Scholar - not a basketball scholarship - the other is a 6 foot white slow point guard.

ZERO juniors on the team.

all the recruits in the sophomore and freshmen classes are the only two classes Doherty has recruited.
