I need webcam help

I can't get this little fucker to work. Its a Logitech Quickcam Messenger and its hooked up in my USB port which worked FINE with my digital camera. Now its telling me the camera is in use by another application. But when I go to multimedia devices to verify its there, it doesn't show up. It DOES however show up under systems.

I don't know what the problem is. I've done everything "help" said to do. If you guys can help me out before I have to call tech it would be great.

I have NO freakin idea what other application could be using it.

I use my regular camcorder with Yahoo's webcam, maybe it'd work with yours

try shutting all the other messenger windows and focus on one

the cable i use for my cam is different than the one i use for the digital camera. maybe that's it.
